Being involved with the Miss Deaf Utah Pageant was a rich experience for me.  You meet

other ladies that you compete with who also become your greatest friend for life. Also by being a participant in a pageant, it helps you build self confidence. People will always remember you and the service you did for their community.  It is a great and learning experience about world issues that impacts our deaf community.  Being involved with pageant gives you more opportunities than you think. :-)
